Congratulations on your up-coming wedding!

This is such a special time for you in your lives – you have found someone special with whom you wish to commit your future plans and share hopes and dreams for your life together.

Your marriage should be a celebration of your love for each other and this should be reflected in the ceremony you plan together. It should highlight the values you share and the feelings you have for each other as this is formally declared in front of the most important people in your lives – your family and your friends.

I look forward to working with you a creating a special, memorable ceremony for you and your guests.

My services include:

  • An initial no cost obligation-free meeting to listen to your ideas and discuss your vision for your wedding with the view to create a meaningful ceremony together. During this meeting we will discuss the process of writing your ceremony and the legal requirements for your wedding. I will also give you my Wedding Information Kit.

  • If you would like to proceed, I would ask you to complete a booking form, sign my Service Agreement and pay a non-refundable booking fee to secure my services. The balance is to be paid one month before the ceremony date.

  • I will then give you a Ceremony Handbook of readings, poems and quotes, some possible ceremony formats, ritual ideas and music suggestions.

  • A second meeting, where we will discuss the first draft of your ceremony and complete and lodge the Notice Of Intention To Marry (NOIM). During this meeting I will need to sight your Identification Documents relevant to your circumstances (see below). I will email you the first draft of your ceremony within a week after this meeting and correspond by either telephone, Facetime or email or to fine-tune the draft.

  • It is preferable to have a rehearsal during the week of the wedding, and if possible to run through the ceremony to make sure everyone knows the part they will play on the day.

You will receive:

  • A professionally printed Commemorative Marriage Certificate.

  • A bound copy of your Wedding Ceremony Script.

I will provide:

  • Completion of all legal paperwork and lodgement with the relevant authorities on your behalf. (Please note: after the wedding, couples will need to seek a copy of their Standard Marriage Certificate by applying directly to Births, Deaths & Marriages (Attorney-General’s Department)

  • A Change Of Name Form (for Australian residents) if either (or both) of you wish to change your surnames via marriage.

  • A professional quality PA system with MP3, CD, USB and Bluetooth. (Please note that I am unable to operate buttons for cued music or sound while performing the ceremony)

  • I will dress appropriately to make sure I complement your wedding party and reflect your dress code.

You will provide:

Identification Documents. It is important that I witness your Proof of Birth when completing the NOIM. A Birth Certificate or Passport from your country of birth is required. If applicable, I will also need to witness Divorce Papers from the Family Court or a Death Certificate to certify the end of a previous marriage. Original photographic Proof of Identity must also be presented such as a Driver’s Licence or Passport.
